Loving From a Distance
2 years agoSometimes you have to love from a distance. You have probably heard the story of "crabs in a barrel" and it's application to the actions of people in life. The principle of the allegory goes something like this…if you look at crabs in an open barrel; you will notice that when one crab attempts to get out and is at the very top of the barrel, another crab will instinctively pull the exiting crab back into the barrel. And so it is with people in our lives; sometimes the individuals in our lives are not necessarily our best supporters. These people do not add to our lives or help create an environment for success.
